The 2016 Festive Blitz Tournament

Many thanks to Ben Wilkinson for organising the pre-Christmas Blitz Tournament on 22nd December - 8 rounds, with 10 minutes on the clock.

Many congratulations to our winner Steve Levy for scoring a very impressive 7/7. Tied for second place on 5/7 were Chris Willcox, Roy Greenhalgh and James Fowler.

Steve won the prize for the best score of the evening.  Chris was awared the prize for the best performance. Cliff v Ken was the last game to finish in round 1 - and quite an audience gathered round to watch. Steve was not going to be put off by Ken Chris had time to smile at the camera - and still win this game. No relaxation for Ben tonight.  He organised the pairings between rounds, as well as playing.
