South Hams Wins ECF Website of the Year Award

South Hams Chess Club is honoured to have been given the English Chess Federation's Website of the Year Award for 2016.

The ECF says of our website:

This has a great deal of accessible information on it. Particularly pleasing is the facilities for members to enter their games on the site.

Of course, it is the enthusiastic contribution of the club members that makes this site unique. Members have submitted more than 300 games to the club database (over half of them submitted during the last year), members have submitted 800 comments on these games, and nearly 700 messages have been posted on the members' forum since it was introduced in January 2016 - many of them banter, it has to be said!
